ERD Nietzsche Shirt

ERD Nietzsche Shirt

The ERD Nietzsche Shirt centers a sketched portrait of Friedrich Nietzsche on a heavily washed grey-black tee, with his name printed in bold serif type underneath.

Portrait & Print

• Hand-drawn style illustration of Nietzsche’s face and shoulders, rough charcoal-sketch texture
• “NIETZSCHE” printed in bold capital serif letters below the portrait
• Cream/off-white ink against the dark, worn base
• Print sits centered on the chest, no back graphic on this one

Wash & Distressing

• Heavy overall wash gives the fabric a faded, uneven grey-black tone
• Small pinholes and distress marks scattered across the front, shoulders, and back panel
• Distressing is intentional and part of the finish, not damage from wear
• No two pieces fade or distress in exactly the same pattern

Fit & Fabric

• Boxy, cropped body
• Dropped shoulder seams
• Standard crew neckline, slightly raw-edged
• Mid-weight cotton with a soft, already-broken-in hand feel
• Runs oversized size down if you want it closer to the body

Styling

Works best kept simple since the portrait print is the whole statement pair with plain denim or black trousers rather than another busy graphic piece. Also holds up fine under an open jacket if you want the print to peek through.

Care

• Cold wash, inside out
• No bleach
• Low heat dryer or hang dry
• Iron away from the print entirely

The rest of the shirts in this style sit on the ERD Shirt page, and the ERD Jacket layers over this one well once it gets colder.
