ERD Egoiste Shirt

The whole shirt builds around one word. “EGOÏSTE” takes over the chest of ERD Egoiste Shirt in cream-white block letters, and the print itself isn’t flat, it’s textured with a cracked, weathered finish inside each letter, like the paint’s already been peeling for a few seasons even though the shirt is new.

Chest Print

• “EGOÏSTE” spans the chest in bold block capitals, cracked texture running through the fill of every letter
• Two small dots sit above the “I,” styled like an exaggerated umlaut or diaeresis mark for effect

Where It’s Torn

• One shoulder seam shows a small torn opening, not a fully frayed collar, just a single point of distressing at the neckline
• The hem splits vertically at the back center, left open and unfinished rather than sewn shut
• Grey reverse-side fabric peeks through right at that split, standing out against the black exterior surrounding it
• Everywhere else on the shirt stays fully intact the distressing is deliberate and localized rather than scattered all over

Fit & Fabric

• Lightweight cotton jersey, soft with some drape rather than a stiff, heavy knit
• Black on the face, lighter grey underneath, visible only where the hem splits open
• Regular crew neckline, standard short sleeves, no cropping this one runs at a normal length

Condition

New, tag on. The shoulder tear and the back hem split are both part of how the shirt is finished, not something that happened to it afterward.

Care

Wash cold and inside out to protect the cracked lettering, and skip high heat in the dryer so the existing tears don’t stretch or spread further than they already sit.
